For Children & Families

Ivymount Outreach Programs provides a wide range of services for a diverse group of children with different needs varying in severity.  Some children may simply need a one time consultation from Ivymount Outreach staff with possible follow-up consultation and other children may benefit from additional resources and or therapeutic services.  We tailor all services to fit the child’s individual needs.

Children who are having difficulty being successful in their home and or school environment.  This may include children who may have trouble following directions, socializing, attending and paying attention, gross motor, sensory motor, fine motor and pre handwriting tasks.  Most often, these children do not have a specific diagnosis.

Children with learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other related disorders, neurological, physical and/or health impairments, sensory processing disorders, motor planning (dyspraxia), selective mutism and communication delays/deficits. Other diagnoses may include: Down syndrome, cognitive impairments, cerebral palsy, and genetic disorders.

Services are based upon referrals from a parent or professional and can be delivered in the home or school setting or at our state-of-the-art facility. Service providers collaborate with parents and other professionals to provide assessments to develop and implement treatment recommendations. All services are individualized to meet the needs of each child and his/her family.
