Ivymount Outreach Programs are growing!

We are currently looking to hire expereinced professionals to join our team assistng students, parents and teachers who do not participate in our schoolbased program.  We are committed to student assessment, ongoing consultation, program development, and professional education throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.

Ivymount School and Programs is a non public special education day school serving students ages 4 – 21 whose disabilities include developmental delays, speech/language deficits, learning disabilities, health impairments, and autism/PDD.  Ivymount Outreach offers a variety of individualized consultation services to organizations, agencies, schools, individuals, and families to develop and implement programs and treatment for students with challenges through our Outreach Programs. 

Therapists: We are seeking part-time Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists to provide services to students and young adults withdisabilities, including assessment, treatment, and planning.  Service can be provided at Ivymount Outreach in Rockville, MD, or at the clients’ homes in MD, VA or DC.  

Hours are flexible; make your own schedule.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited therapy Masters program and current state license for MD, VA, and/or DC. 

Experience with school age children and young adults with multiple disabilities is preferred.

BCBA Consultant: We are currently seeking a Consultant for our Outreach Programs.  Essential duties include conducting behavioral and skills assessments, writing and implementing behavior intervention and treatment plans, parent and staff training, supervision and/or development of home programs, providing specialized workshops, and conducting school and program evaluations/needs assessments. 

Hours are flexible; a minimum of 10 billable hours per month is expected

Requirements: Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a minimum of 5 years experience working with Autism Spectrum ASD Disorder.  Experience with curriculum development and behavior reduction/skill replacement preferred. Must have Masters or PhD degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
