APT
Our Mission APT provides services to the community at large that include intervention services for children experiencing difficulties in school or at home through individualized sessions and comprehensive assessment from occupational therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy. Therapists are highly skilled in pediatrics, certified by their national organizations and licensed in the state of Maryland. Highly skilled tutoring services are provided in all subject areas and for all ages. Tutors are all certified educators in the state of Maryland. Comprehensive educational testing is also available. Occupational Therapy: Assessment and individualized treatment for sensory processing disorders, motor-cognitive skill acquisition, functional skill acquisition and social emotional and behavioral difficulties. Physical Therapy: Assessment and individualized treatment for orthopedic problems, strength and endurance, and motor-cognitive skill acquisition. Speech and Language Therapy: Assessment and individualized treatment for Tutoring Services: Assessment and individual sessions in all subject areas and all ages. Music Therapy: For school-aged children provided by a board certified music therapist professionally trained in guitar, percussion, piano, violin and voice. Sessions are creative, improvisational and based upon each student’s individualized needs. Yoga for special needs students: Group yoga instruction for children with special needs taught by a certified yoga specialist. Please call: |
