CORE

The mission of Center for Outreach in Education is to develop programs for schools, day care centers and parents in response to the needs of children at-risk for normal development. Specifically, CORE’s program includes the following services:

-Individualize classroom and home observations to identify and target developmental challenges of identified children

-Consultation with educators and parents following the observations to provide tools and strategies to help create successful educational and social environments for the child

-Language/social skills treatment groups led by a professional team of speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior specialists geared to teaching children social skills

-Educational advocacy

Social Skills Groups:

For: 3-4 year olds, 4-5 year olds and K-1st graders

Led by a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist

Working on pragmatic social language and sensory needs

Workshops:
