The High School Vocational Program enables students to experience in-school job opportunities. These opportunities are segmented into six Vocational Clusters including: Building Services, Childcare / Classroom Aide, Landscaping / Groundskeeping, Office and Library Work, and Sales and Marketing.
Working in the Office and Library enables students to learn the skills and behaviors required of these workplace environments. In the office, students assist with mail delivery and distribution of informational flyers. As a Library Assistant, students assist with reshelving returned books.
In an effort to ensure our High School students have the opportunity to gain landscaping skills, the school has installed five garden boxes. The students working in Landscaping /Groundskeeping are responsible for planting and maintaining the flowers and plants in the garden boxes.
