Grant Provides Funding for Ivymount's Technology Needs. An anonymous gift to Ivymount School will provide state-of-the-art, interactive whiteboard technology for each of the school's classrooms; purchase much needed assistive technologies that help students communicate and access resources; and not least importantly, update and maintain the school's technology infrastructure that supports these systems. The $89,000 grant comes at a time when aging servers and dwindling storage space have made it increasingly difficult for Ivymount to support students and staff in programs that make heavy use of technology. This generous gift will allow Ivymount not only to maintain the systems we have, but to offer new and exciting opportunities for students in and out of the classroom.
