With an emphasis on gaining valuable experience and learning vocational skills, students are placed in paid and unpaid positions at a variety of businesses and corporations throughout Maryland and Virginia. This year, the Post High School Program has secured 19 community job sites including the Bolger Center, Suburban Hospital, the Housing Opportunities Commission and ManTech International. In addition to community sites, students work with organizations such as the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, Rebuilding Together, and American Cancer Society to complete specific, time-limited jobs in the Vocational Center.. |
