VOLUNTEER PLACEMENTS
Offer a supervised and supportive setting for high school and college students and other individuals who are interested in working with special needs children as a community service.
Students from the following schools, colleges, and universities are currently volunteering at Ivymount: The Sidwell Friends School, The Landon School, The Holton-Arms School, Holy Child, Churchill High School, Walt Whitman High School, The University Of Maryland, Catholic University Of America, Gallaudet University, George Washington University, Marymount College, Johns Hopkins University, and Hood College. With appreciation to the following volunteer groups who donate their time and expertise: The Women's Club of Potomac, St. Francis Episcopal Church Outreach Committee, and the Washington Hebrew Committee.
