CoronavirusIvymount School and Programs is committed to the health and safety needs of the students, clients, staff and families of Ivymount School, The Maddux School, and Ivymount Outreach.

We appreciate your support and flexibility as we continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through careful thought, planning, and criteria, our goal is to have all students on-site for full-time instruction, while recognizing that the public health situation requires us all to remain flexible in our response plan and instructional models. We will continue to follow all guidance at the local and state levels, along with the recommendations from our medical advisory team to make the best decisions for our students' health and education.

Ivymount will continue to provide frequent and transparent communications, including through our website, corporate emails, and outreach by program directors and teachers.

Ivymount is working with Gene 20/20 Systems to provide onsite surveillance testing of asymptomatic staff and students through funding provided by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and the Maryland Department of Health (MDH). Onsite COVID-19 testing takes place weekly on Wednesdays and is open to all students, clients, and staff who want to register. All unvaccinated staff and students, as well as all students who do not wear a mask consistently at school, should participate in weekly testing.
