Professional Collaborative Launches Lecture Series

Ivymount’s Professional Collaborative is pleased to bring back our annual Spring Lecture Series with workshops led by Ivymount staff.  Our Professional Collaborative is dedicated to establishing community connections to help grow the education community more broadly, through events like this!

Upcoming lectures focus on: using mindfulness strategies, discussing sexual health with individuals with I/DD, and understanding and appreciating neurodiversity.

Join the Ivymount Professional Collaborative in person at Ivymount on Wednesday, April 24 from 6-7 pm for the second workshop in our Spring Lecture Series, Talking about Sexual Health with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. In celebration of April’s Autism Acceptance and Advocacy Month, this session will support attendees in exploring opportunities to increase access to this important information for autistic and neurodiverse individuals.

Kelly Offutt, Program Services Specialist and Speech Therapist, will provide information about sexual health related to school-age individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Expect to learn new ways to discuss these matters openly and comprehensively. Plus, ask questions and chat with fellow attendees.

Please RSVP for the next session by clicking the button below.
