We celebrated the theme “Gather & Grow” at The Maddux School’s 2026 Spring Auction during a joyful and meaningful evening that brought together families, friends, alumni, staff, and supporters. The event was a celebration not only of how far our students have come, but of the exciting growth ahead for the Maddux community.
An Evening Rooted in Community
Guests gathered over cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dinner while connecting with one another and engaging in a lively silent auction. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who donated items, volunteered their time, sponsored staff tickets, attended the event, and participated in the silent auction, live auction, and Fund‑A‑Cause.
Student Creativity on Display
A highlight of the night was the live auction of collaborative classroom artwork, created by students across grade levels. These one‑of‑a‑kind pieces reflect the Maddux approach to integrated learning that blends visual art, literacy, and social studies, culminating in an annual Arts and Literacy Festival. The paintings served as a powerful reminder of what students can achieve when they are thoughtfully supported. Videos shared during the program further showcased growth in students, Maddux programs, and professional development among staff.
Growing with Purpose
The Gather & Grow theme carried special meaning this year as The Maddux School embarks on an exciting period of expansion. Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, Maddux will add 3rd grade, with plans to grow through 5th grade in the years ahead. This next chapter will allow more students to benefit from The Maddux School’s integrated, interdisciplinary model, small class sizes, and individualized supports – extending continuity and connection for families over time. Support from this year’s Fund‑A‑Cause will sustain professional development and innovative programming, and will expand opportunities for students, families, and staff.
